Glacial Study:Echoes of Ice

Glacial Study is a series of photographs made in Svalbard, exploring the intricate forms, textures and quiet presence of Arctic glaciers. Through minimalist compositions, the work draws attention to both the monumental scaleof these landscapes and the subtle details within them.

There is a tension between strength and vulnerability in these vast formations. Despitetheir seemingly permanent presence, glaciers are continually shifting, eroding and reshaping. The series reflects on this impermanence, capturing moments within a landscape that is never truly still.
